Course
The course begins in Marymoor Park and proceeds out and back along the scenic Sammamish River Trail. It is 100% asphalt and free of any appreciable hills.
USATF Course Certification Number: WA23028RMB There will be certified markers at each mile, as well as at the 400m mark. The course was measured expecting runners will hit the tangents of the trail except in 3 locations:
Stay to the right of the trail's centerline in these locations. The centerline will be denoted via a yellow solid line painted on the ground, signage, and cones. Runners are to remain on the paved portion of the trail at all times. |
Aid Stations
There will be four aid stations along the course:
- Mile 4: Water, GU Strawberry Banana Energy Gel, and GU Tropical Fruit Roctane Energy Drink
- Mile 6: Water, GU Tri-Berry Energy Gel, and GU Strawberry Lemonade Energy Drink
- Mile 7: Water, GU Tri-Berry Energy Gel, and GU Strawberry Lemonade Energy Drink
- Mile 9: Water, GU Strawberry Banana Energy Gel, and GU Tropical Fruit Roctane Energy Drink
The aid stations will all be along the right side of the course. Chews and gels will be on the first table, sports drink on the second table, and water on the third table.
Bathrooms
There will not be race specific bathrooms along the course; however, the Sammamish River Trail parks system has several public restrooms very close to the course:
- Miles 4.2 & 8.8: 100 feet east of the trail on the north end of 60 Acres Park
- Miles 6 & 7: 100 feet south of the trail on the south end of the Northshore Athletic Fields
- Miles 6.2 & 6.8: 30 feet east of the trail on the north end of the Northshore Athletic Fields
