FAQ

Q: Is there packet pickup on the day of the race?

A: For the best experience, we recommend that you get your packet ahead of time, but there is packet pickup on race day. For all packet pickup times, see "Schedule" on the Race Info page.

Q: Can someone else pick up my packet?

A: Yes.

Q: Can I register on the day of the race?

A: No, registration closes at 11:59 PM the Friday before the race.

Q: How old must participants be?

A: At least 14 years old.

Q: Are there race photos? How much will they cost?

A: Race photos are included for free as part of your race entry and should be uploaded within 1 week of the event.

Q: What pace groups will there be?

A: See "Pace Groups" on the Race Info page.

Q: When does the course close?

A: The course closes at 12:00 PM, but you can still finish after this. You might not receive an official finish time if you finish after the course closure. For complete details, see "Schedule" on the Race Info page.

Q: Where may I park?

A: Participants can park in Marymoor Lot I (lot closest to the start line), the grass/gravel triangle lot just south of the climbing wall, or any Marymoor Park lot unless otherwise posted. Most paved lots (i.e., not the grass/gravel lot) charge a $1 parking fee. Alternatively, the Marymoor Village Light Rail Station is less than 1/2 mile away if using transit.

Q: Do I need to be present at the award ceremony to get my award?

A: Cash awards will be mailed. No other awards (including gift cards) will be mailed, so you would need to be present for those.

Q: Are strollers allowed?

A: Yes, strollers are allowed. Please be mindful of other runners and consider starting a little further back.

Q: Are dogs allowed?

A: Dogs are not allowed to participate per USATF regulations.

Q: I'd like to participate, but the entry fee is prohibitive for my financial situation. What can I do?

A: There are several ways to gain free entry to the race. Volunteers receive free entry to next year's event. Athletes meeting performance standards outlined in the Elites page receive free entry to this year's event. If neither of those options work for you, please contact us via the form on the home page and we can find a solution within your means.

Q: What prize category are non-binary runners eligible for?

A: For the purpose of prizes and elite benefits, non-binary runners will be considered in the open division. Female bodied non-binary runners may request to be in the women's division by emailing us in advance of the race.
